  • File & ServeXpress Introduces “Distinct Sending Parties”

New feature streamlines e-Filing and e-Service transactions in MDL and Complex Cases

Irving, Texas (March 11, 2016) – File & ServeXpress by Mozato has launched a new feature for asbestos and civil cases called “Distinct Sending Parties” for firms representing multiple parties in the same case.

For Multi-District Litigation (MDL) and the asbestos cases in Madison County, Ill., the “Distinct Sending Parties” feature allows law firms to e-File and e-Serve a single document on behalf of each party in the same transaction.

The “Distinct Sending Parties” feature saves time and money by avoiding the need to file individual transactions for each document/party. Firms can file separate appearances into a case, allowing for the addition of more than one attorney from the firm for a single party. Other efficiencies include serving Answers to Interrogatories or filing an Answer on behalf of multiple parties that the firm represents – in a single transaction.

“We realize that our product is well suited for complex and multi-district litigation so we have been focusing on incorporating new features that can provide efficiencies for both the court and the attorney in these high-volume cases,” said Tammy Carter, General Manager of File & ServeXpress. “With the addition of Multi-Case Filing in January and now ‘Distinct Sending Parties,’ we have significantly increased productivity in these cases.”
